All features are activated via an interactive display with supporting feature keys. The display is divided into five sections that include the following:

An overview of Click-to-Call can be viewed at this link.

The Chrome and Edge browser extension is available at this link.

The Click-to-Call extension must be activated by LPS and associated with an extension number prior to its use.

In the above illustration, Google Contacts is integrated with the UC Client and dialed by using the Click-to-Call feature.  A record of the call is available via Call History.  Contact information is also available via a Personal directory as well as via a directory of all users (Community) on the system.

The Contacts Directory on the Desktop Phone is populated with a downloaded file offered and supported by LPS. Calls are made via a Directory function on the phone and listed in the Main Display area.

Call History

Call History is available on both the Desktop Phone and adjunct UC Client.   The UC Client offers an interface with a very powerful search engine along with much more record detail.   Click-to-Call is used to redial entries in Call History.

Voicemail

Voicemail is accessed via the Desktop Phone via a dedicated Voicemail button and the UC Client with or without Voicemail to Text.  Access is audio only via the Desktop Phone and audio and visual via the UC Client.   When selecting a voice message to hear or view, all voice messages associated with that caller are presented with an option to dial the caller back using Click-to-Call.   This ensures that all voice messages are viewed prior to calling the party back.

Selective Transfer and Call Forward

To ensure that calls are always presented to the most appropriate destination, Transfer within a call and Forward prior to answering a call provides the end-user with options to use either when necessary.  An inbound call may contain a CLID destined for a more appropriate person.   An answered call may be better served by another person based on subject matter expertise.
